Abstract
“Lessons in Creativity — Creative Problem Solving in Practice” for Classes I–III Primary Schools in Wroclaw as an Example of the Concept of Developing Creative Competences of Pupils’ Early Childhood Education Often, commonly used methodical strategies prevent the development of the ability to search for creative and original solutions of early education pupils. They block their innovation and the ability to creatively solve everyday problems. Too rare in the didactic process, children are taught creative heuristics that will help them to think creatively, bravely, non-standard and consciously use the methods and techniques of this thinking to solve tasks and problems. Bearing in mind the deficiencies in preparing younger students for creative problem solving in practice, an innovative educational program “Lessons in Creativity — Creative Problem Solving in Practice” was introduced into 51 primary schools in Wroclaw. In the 2015/2016 school year, one hour per week was added to the teaching plan in the first class for the implementation of the creative learning of problem solving, i.e. a lesson in creativity — TRP in practice. After a 3-year piloting period and evaluation, in the case of its positive effects, the program will be implemented for all early childhood education. Teachers’ use of TRP methods and techniques to teach (themselves) students will become a strategy of teaching the school at the first stage of education.
