LEXICAL-SEMANTIC CHARACTERISTIC OF GERMAN ANTHROPONYMS-SYMBOLS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the specifics of the formation and functioning of German anthroponyms-symbols in the language. Based on the lexical-semantic analysis of proper names are defined the main groups of symbols: mythological, biblical, the names of heroes of fiction, historical, political figures, inventors, musicians, sportsmen and representatives of fashion. The source of the research was German phraseological units, as well as the results of the survey of German citizens.
