LITHIUM BATTERIES CRISIS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the lithium batteries crisis analysis. The paper considers the main problems of used batteries recycling. Data on the world use of lithium are given. The article provides information on the main countries-producers of lithium. In the continuation of this topic, the problems associated with the extraction of metal are disclosed. Examples of alternatives to lithium batteries are given. Conclusions are made on the possibility of lithium batteries crisis overcoming.
