LOOP AVOIDANCE ROUTING APPROACH FOR RELIABLE DATA TRANSMISSION

Abstract

In this paper we depict a model which is not evaluate the node reputation, but also provides a approach to avoid loop occurs in the communication. The simulation uses the 802.11 protocol with RTS, CTS, DATA, and ACK signaling at the MAC layer. The simulation is performed in NS2 software. The paper model packet forwarding, passive misbehavior , active misbehavior, and avoidance of loop in the malicious nodes in the routes. The results achieved are both graphical and in the form of network animation. Curves such as throughput are plotted to analyze the performance of MANET. And in this paper we also have the comparison of the previous work and our proposed work and study the rate of packet lost during the occurance of loop in the communication. And in this paper we also show the rate of lost of packets is less than the previous work and we here show that our approach is better than the previous approach.
