Abstract
Hazrat Ali is Hazrat Muhammad's cousin and son-in-law. He took part in Badr, Uhud, Hendek and Khaybar Wars with Hazrat Muhammad and presented heroism during those wars. He offered important services during his caliphate period, between 656 and 661. He passed away in 661. He had a lot of poets’ love and praise in Oriental - Islamic Literature because of his relationship with Hazrat Muhammad, of his religious and historical personality and of his strong humanistic and moral characteristics. Love felt for Hazrat Ali in Turkish literature has been portrayed in independent poetry and works as well as one couplet poems. One of the poems reflecting love for Hazrat Ali sincerely belongs to Dervish Mohamed Yemini, who is supposed to have lived during the second half of the 15th century and the first half of the 16th century. Yemini, who loved Hazrat Ali and who was boastful for his loyalty for him, expressed his love, loyalty and admiration for Hazrat Ali directly and indirectly with an epic style in his work - Faziletname, which was written in 1519 and consists of 7409 couplets. In this study; how Yemini reflected his love for Hazrat Ali in Faziletname has been researched and illustrated.
