Macrolides - properties and their use in medical treatment

Abstract
Proper antibiotic therapy is based on good knowledge of drug antibacterial and pharmacokinetics properties i.e. obtaining the required concentration in target tissues. Macrolid therapy has also anti-inflammatory properties, beneficial effects on the immune system in the infected organisms which enables proper therapy particularly in the respiratory system.
