Media-product as results of practical activity of future teachers of initial classes

Abstract
The article discusses the concept of “media product”, defines its scientific context; the views of scientists concerning the outlined concept are highlighted. It is noted that the active development of information technologies leads future specialists to innovate approach to solving the problems of education by means of media. Since modern youth actively uses the media as entertainment only, today’s challenge for teachers to teach students from the start-up is to properly use the information coming from the media. Consequently, a modern elementary teacher should be a media-competent specialist in his business. Hence, vocational training at universities should provide a solid basis for both theoretical knowledge of media issues and practical skills and competences to create meaningful media products. In turn, it is highlighted that a media product is a means that enables effective and productive human activity. Due to the media product it is possible to establish connections between virtual and modern space; an instrument that satisfies the information needs of the individual. Creation of a media product is impossible without creative media activity, which is aimed at forming practical skills of independent activity in the system “future teacher-media”. Actualization of such interaction is conditioned by the fact that only activity is a generalized form of mastering any knowledge that becomes a criterion for understanding the significance of their own professional specialty.
