MENTAL SPACE OF A. GRIGORIEV

Abstract
The set of the problem. In modern literary science the interest to the theoretical aspects of literary criticism is quite evident. However, attention of the researchers mainly focused on the contemporary consciousness of literary criticism of the 20th century. Several scientific articles and sections in textbooks are written about A. Grigoriev and about criticism of the middle of the 20th century. Because of the marked trend we believe it will be appropriate to refer to the characteristics of mental field and space designated in geologic practice of A. Grigoriev. The purpose of the article is to highlight significant theoretical positions of A. Grigoriev about art and literature, to create the concept of „organic” criticism. Mental space of A.Grigoriev is marked due to the following factors: critic world vision, matured under the influence of Orthodox faith, the proximity to the ideas of early slavicfeels, the interest to the archetypical basics of Russian culture, which were reflected in his poetry art and literary criticism. Conclusions: mythological thinking of the critic is undoubtedly has had an impact on the mental space of A. Grigoriev. The critic articles remain inconclusive, molded from different fragments. They are based on intuition, „spontaneity”, feeling of perception.
