Method and Didactic Training Tools of Future IT Specialists to Improve the Computer Software and Hardware under Conditions of Educational Fundamentalization

Abstract

Improving the training quality of future IT specialists requires development of the methods and didactic tools for teaching computer disciplines, which should be oriented towards the students’ ability to perform productive activities. Based on theoretical analysis of scientific and methodological literature, on the organization of productive educational and cognitive students’ activity, on the professional fundamentalization of future IT specialists' training in higher educational institutions, on the creation issues and use of information technologies, a method and didactic tools have been developed to improve basic IT objects. Teaching and cognitive activities of students should simulate the process of creating a new or improving existing hardware and software computer technology, and have a productive character. The generalized model of the improved method of the basic IT object is developed and based on fundamental philosophical, mathematical and natural laws and concepts. Аt the first stage of the method, students need to identify the problem of improving the basic IT object. The purpose of the method second stage is to obtain options for improving the basic IT object. Аt this stage the aim is achieved by changing the structure of the basic IT object towards improving its options. Аt the third stage, the verification of the results is made to match other criteria of the IT object. If the decision is contrary to other IT object criteria and the task, then it is necessary to return to the second stage of the method. Аt the fourth stage of the method of improving the basic IT object, students determine the rationality of the problem solution, discuss which methods and techniques have become most useful to get a new IT object, reveal patterns in finding solutions for the problem. The method of improving the basic IT object should be used to organize productive educational and cognitive activities of students while mastering the basic concepts of computer disciplines. The developed method and didactic tools of improving the computer software and hardware technology allow organizing productive educational and cognitive activity of students and corresponding to the structure of professional activity of the IT specialist. The developed method for improving the basic IT objects based on fundamental philosophical, natural sciences and mathematical laws and concepts is combined, and involves the use of the method of heuristic questions, retrospective analysis of IT objects. The basis of the developed didactic tools is the algorithm for managing productive educational and cognitive activities of students with the elements of step-by-step information support at each stage of the activity.
