METHOD FOR CHECKING A LITIUM-POLYMER BATTERY FOR UNMANNED AIRCRAFT

Abstract

The article deals with the main classes of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and the possibilities of their use. The basic types of power supplies of the UAV are determined. The aim of the work is to provide electric power for the UAV accident-free flight. The method of non-destructive control of the state of lithium rechargeable autonomous power sources (RAPS), on board the UAV by means of fixing its current temperature is proposed. The results of the experiment of temperature control of the real system using the optoelectronic thermal imager are presented. It was concluded on the basis of the obtained data, that the temperature signal can be used as a criterion for switching on an additional battery or stopping flight.
