Method of Determining the Main Features of Magnetic Ferromagnetic Materials
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Dunarea de Jos" din Galati. Fascicula IX, Metalurgie si Stiinta Materialelor - Year 2012, Vol 35, Issue 4
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present a method for determining the main magnetic features such as magnetic induction B, magnetization M, the coercive magnetic field Hc, permeability μ, using hysteresis cycle chart. The method can be used for: - determining the amounts of phase with the existing magnetic properties of ferrous alloys, - determination of delta ferrite in austenitic steels and the weld seam weld bonding of these steels, - pointing to the deformation of martensitic transformation in cold austenitic stainless steels and proper calibration, intensity estimation of martensitic transformation and the amount of martensite in the structure.

Continuous Flux Thermal Treatments for Improving the Resistance at Alternate Bending of Medium to High Strength Steel Strips
The research was focused on obtaining medium to high strength steel strips for strapping heavy products by applying continuous flux thermal treatments on common grades, cheap carbon steels. For steel strapping the behavi...
Studies on the Heat Recovery from the Sinter Cooler, S.C. ArcelorMittal Galati
Heat recovery to the sinter plant is a means of improving the efficiency of the sintering process. The hot agglomerate must be cooled down. The heat recovered from the sinter cooler is used to preheat the combustion air...
Vibration Diagnosis Systems for a Cold Rolling Mill Machine
In this work is shown the importance to use a monitoring by vibration system for a cold rolling mill machine. The using of this monitoring vibration system reduce maintenance costs, minimize the impact on operation becau...
Effective Electromechanical Coupling for the Partially Electroded Ceramic Resonators of Different Geometries
Effective electromechanical coupling factor (ECF) was studied on bar, disc and ring ceramic resonators partially covered by electrodes. ECFs were calculated theoretically and verified experimentally. Bar resonators (k31-...
Studies and Researches Regarding the Obtaining and Characterization of Composite Nickel Coatings-Ni/Al2O3, Ni/Kaolin Electrochemically Produced
This study presents the composite nickel coatings electrochemically obtained using as disperse phases Al2O3 particles and kaolin. There were used Watts electrolytes, with a pH = 4, current density of 4 A/dm2 , a concentr...
