Method of Determining the Main Features of Magnetic Ferromagnetic Materials
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Dunarea de Jos" din Galati. Fascicula IX, Metalurgie si Stiinta Materialelor - Year 2012, Vol 35, Issue 4
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present a method for determining the main magnetic features such as magnetic induction B, magnetization M, the coercive magnetic field Hc, permeability μ, using hysteresis cycle chart. The method can be used for: - determining the amounts of phase with the existing magnetic properties of ferrous alloys, - determination of delta ferrite in austenitic steels and the weld seam weld bonding of these steels, - pointing to the deformation of martensitic transformation in cold austenitic stainless steels and proper calibration, intensity estimation of martensitic transformation and the amount of martensite in the structure.

Numerical Study on Ballistic Phenomena - Part Two
The study of ballistic phenomena (interior ballistics, exterior ballistics and terminal ballistics) is an activity that involves the use of complex and at the same time very expensive equipment. Also, another aspect wort...
Fabrication of Ultrafine Low Carbon Metallic Multilayer by Accumulative Roll Bonding
The effect of grain refinements by Accumulative Roll Bonding (ARB) was investigated on low carbon steel. Optical microscopy (OM) and microhardness tests were used to check the phase changes and hardness before and after...
Fabrication and Characterization of Cobalt/Iron Composite Coatings
Cobalt/iron composite coatings are used in micro-equipments due to their high magnetic saturation values and Curie temperatures, as magnetic nanoparticles capable of killing cancer cells, for magnetic data storage and ma...
Influence of Rib Thickness on the Solidification of Cast Parts
The ribs applied to the walls of cast parts are designed for enhancing both stiffness and aesthetics. The presence of ribs modifies the conditions of heat transmission and implicitly the solidification of the alloy in th...
