Methods of Protection of National Architecture Monuments
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Dunarea de Jos" din Galati. Fascicula IX, Metalurgie si Stiinta Materialelor - Year 2013, Vol 36, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper discusses the problem of monuments conservation in terms of technical implementation and based on the importance of conservation of historical content, and it helps to skillfully handle the complicated untypical tasks on all surfaces, be it facade repair, building waterproof, or wood protection. Also, we studied the causes of weathering and fracture of facade construction materials of old buildings. In the restoration process, we suggest using materials from sacrificial, sanitizing and compression plasters and the correct application of desalination compresses, which is a reliable, effective method of salts removal. In addition to special sand-blasting and chemical cleaning of dirt, interior walls may be cleaned using a removable latex film for eliminating contaminants.

A Review on the Thermophysical Properties of Water-Based Nanofluids and their Hybrids
A nanofluid is a solid–liquid mixture which consists of nanoparticles and a base liquid. Nanoparticles are basically metal (Cu, Ni, Al, etc.), oxides (Al2O3, TiO2, CuO, SiO2, Fe2O3, Fe3O4, BaTiO3, etc.) and some other co...
The Influence of the Carbon Content on the Depth of the Carbonitrurat Layer in Fluidized Layer for 1C15, 1C25 and 1C45 Steels
This paper presents the experimental research of carbonitriding thermochemical processing in fluidized layer performed on some samples of carbon steel with different carbon contents, the fluidized layer being made up of...
Alumina Influence on the Corrosion Resistance of Composite Layers Ni-P-Al2O3
This paper aims to analyze the corrosion resistance of composite layers based on Ni-P matrix and disperse phase alumina of 10 µm size, present in amounts of 5, 10 and 20 g / L in the nickel plating bath. The influence of...
Experimental and Theoretical Investigations on Mode I Crack Propagation in Notches under Cyclic Loading
Research works regarding crack opening stresses covering various types of Mode I cracks initiated and growing in notches under cyclic loading are shown. A large number of parameters influence the crack opening behavior,...
