Siderurgy Slags Recovery in Building Industry
During the metallurgical processes of iron and steel elaboration, besides the basic products, it results a serious of secondary products (wastes) in high quantities but with a high recycle – recovery potential, and their...
Thermodynamic Assesment of The Cu - Ti System in Microalloyed Copper Base Alloys
The correlations made between thermodynamic and kinetic data of the heterogeneous systems provided insight into the alloys properties. Experimental researches presented in this paper refer to the thermodynamics of Cu-Ti...
Waste Minimization by Reuse and Recycling
Recently, pollution prevention directs attention towards the elimination or reduction of undesired by- products within the production process itself before treatment. On the long term, pollution prevention through waste...
Geopolymers Obtained With Red Mud From Alumina Manufacturing
Getting reusable aluminosilicate materials, based on the geopolymerization reaction mechanism of some physical and mechanical material particular, has been imposed in the recent years in building materials. This paper pr...
Hydrodynamic Aspects on EAF’s Smelt Metallic Mirror
Using the Physical and Mathematical knowledge, a new approach to EAF bath’s hydrodynamic aspects is proposed to be developed in this paper. Experimental results and a mathematical equation package have been concluded tha...
