Design and Flow Modelling of Ballast Tank In-Line Ejector
The purpose of this paper is to present the stages of designing a water in-line ejector used for ballast tanks stripping operation. The design operation was performed using NX Siemens CAD and ANSYS 15 for computer fluid...
The Use of Ultrasound in the Treatment Process of Wastewater. A review
In this paper, different types of ultrasound devices for the treatment process of wastewater are presented. The use of ultrasound in treatment processes is a method of perspective, an alternative to conventional methods....
Characterization of Sintered Hardmetals Coated with TiC
This paper presents the realization of TiC thin films by CVD method. The thin layers of TiC thicknesses were 8 and 10μm, their thickness increasing with time, keeping the temperature. Diffractometer analysis certifies th...
The Johnson-Mehl-Avrami Model Applied to Martensitic Kinetics in Ausformed Cooper Based Shape Memory Alloy
CuAlNi shape memory alloys which are used as sensors and actuators have also been investigated recently as materials for medicine devices. This study shows the influence of the thermo – mechanical treatments in CuAl13Ni...
Modelling of the Flow and Deformation Fields at the Profiles Rolling by Field Lines Method
This paper presents a method for modeling of the rolling process based at the deformable continuous medium mechanics, the theory of field lines. The rolling of the profiles and plates may be evaluated as the plane strain...
