Abstract
I. Irtysheva, О. Gurina, Yu. Rabotin. Methodical approaches to assess the efficiency of regional social policy in the context of satisfaction of social needs. In the system of relations of modern social progress, it is the person who acts as the main key element of socio-economic, scientific-technical and information interaction. At the same time, one of the conditions for the sustainable development of socio-economic systems is the need for a more complete satisfaction of the entire spectrum of social needs, including personal, among which: the need for self-realization, identity, cultural and spiritual development. The subject of the study in the article is the regional social policy and approaches to assessing its effectiveness. The purpose of the article is to create methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of social policy in terms of meeting social needs. Methods. It is substantiated that in modern conditions motivational factors become one of the determinant factors of social development and driving forces of economic progress. The use of the theory of motivation, in particular, the theory of needs, in the process of developing the social policy of the region is an important factor in its effectiveness in terms of the impact on the development of social processes in a particular vector. Results. On the basis of integration of scientific approaches to the assessment of the effectiveness of regional social policy and the theory of needs motivation, a model for assessing the effectiveness of the social policy of the region through the prism of meeting social needs was proposed. The use of these methodological approaches will allow assessing key and secondary needs, identifying relevant priorities, improving the social security assessment and population development in the region, and sharing responsibilities and responsibilities for implementing certain aspects of social policy on the ground.
