Abstract
The definition of tolerance is carried out through the change in the otherness vector: the understanding of the differences between Common-Other і Common-Alien - through the unquestionable variability and difference between the participants of the communicative interaction within We-group. This vertical, rather than horizontal, drift of identity is based on the contradictory need for non-equivalence of the communicative space actors of this We-group, the difference being not a threat, but rather recognition of the mobility and non-fixedness of this space. This situation has been reflected in the current state of Ukraine as a country that comprises a few dimensions, regarding lack of unification within this We-space. The latter excludes value-loaded appropriation of collective identity, since the plurality of self-identification, as well as the related need for internalization of the world diversity, constitute the question of defining and overcoming fanatical identification as a utopian urge for homogeneity of the group consisting of the subjects with ultimately problematic homogeneity. Myopia of voters leads to stimulation of voters’ decision-making through a referendum, regardless of the context and long-term perspective. However, the manipulation is in the field of value-significant usage of concepts of development, growth, etc. In turn, the mythologems used in the information space contain signs of this phenomenon in the form of myopia of a recipient (recipient myopia). Manipulations with concepts that have a value in the context of multiple identities (freedom, tradition, language) create the illusion of unity and homogeneity, which does not allow it to clearly understand the differences in the relations within a We-group, due to the set of specific features of the subjects being depicted as differences, essentially, through the opposition of Common-Alien.
