Model jako narzędzie antropologii kulturowej w ujęciu Claude’a Lévi-Straussa i Pierre’a Bourdieu

Abstract
Model as a Tool of Cultural Anthropology in Claude Lévi-Strauss’s and Pierre Bourdieu’s Conceptions Research on particular features of scientific models appears to be one of the most important trends in contemporary reflection undertaken by the philosophy of science. Drawing on the experience of this discipline, the author attempts to conduct preliminary analysis of structure and functions of selected models described by Claude Lévi-Strauss and Pierre Bourdieu. These two researchers have consciously used data modeling techniques to present results of their studies. Moreover, they have also investigated the nature of different types of anthropological representations. The article aims to explain whether and how their models affected anthropological discourse and its limitations.
