Model rehabilitacji pacjentów po naprawach uszkodzeń chrzęstno-kostnych stawu skokowego metodą suchej artroskopii

Journal Title: Rehabilitacja w Praktyce - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 2

Abstract

Osteochondral lesions within the ankle may have different etiology and pathogenesis. Most often these lesions are caused by injury. Conservative treatment ( joint mobilization, joint relief, physiotherapy and orthoses) and surgical treatment (usually arthroscopy) are applied. The paper presents a model of a physiotherapeutic treatment in patients who have undergone a surgery of osteochondral defect of the talus using the dry arthroscopy technique. The term ‘dry arthroscopy’ refers to the arthroscopic method without hypertension in the joint cavity caused by fluid or gas. The physiotherapeutic model is based on developing a rehabilitation strategy by monitoring the healing dynamics using MRI.
