Journal Title: Актуальні питання гуманітарних наук: Міжвузівський збірник наукових праць молодих вчених Дрогобицького державного педагогічного університету - Year 2018, Vol 21, Issue 1
Abstract
On the basis of studying the psychological and pedagogical literature of foreign researchers, consider models of cre- ativity and conditions conducive to its development. The author presents the following models and concepts of creativity: Theory of Positive Disintegration by K. Dom- browski, The Four C Model of Creativity by J. C. Kaufman and R A. Beghetto, the concept of creativity by E. Necki, the component theory of creativity by T. Amabile, the theory of creativity by K. Urban, the personality model by S. Popek, the theory of creativity by R. Sternberg and T. Lubart. All of them testify to their diversity and different vision of the concept of "creativity". Human creativity is in constant development, ranging from the everyday creativity of young children, ending with “mature” and “outstanding”. Creativity can have various forms and manifest itself in various spheres of human activity: everyday and professional. Man’s acquisition of outstanding creativity, which leads to a change in existing par- adigms, the introduction of new ideas and values, is possible only if there are favorable internal and external conditions. These include general and/or special abilities, creativity, appropriate personality traits that enable the development of potential and a supportive environment. In the concepts of abilities and creativity, attention is focused on the importance of the influence of the family, group and social environment. Research and analysis of the influence of the family on creativity relate to the emotional climate and the attitude of the parents. The school environment is also an important factor in influencing development. It happens that the school negatively affects the creative activity of students. This is due to the mechanical assimilation of knowledge, and not to stimulate creative thinking and behavior. As a rule, creative students are interesting/curious, inventive, active, original, open, intelligent, independent, sensitive, energetic, having a wide range of interests. Therefore, they are often perceived by teachers as students with problems. Forming the individual’s need for creativity, combined with the desire for self- realization, leads to the development of potential opportunities, understood as the creation of new ideas.
