MODERN COMPOSITE AND PERFORMATIVE ART THE EVOLUTION OF POPULAR MUSIC

Abstract
The aim of our research is to show the development of popular music, to testify to a specific Ukrainian and international musical model and to substantiate the significant contribution of composers and vocalists. Our task is to give different inter- pretations of concept “popular music”, to focus attention on the notion of popular music as one of the key phenomenon of youth culture, on the main (jazz, rock music, author’s song, traditional pop song, pop music) and syncretic genres of Ukrain- ian popular music, on the most famous and often performed works (classical, folk, jazz, etc.), and also on various styles and genres of entertaining and pop music. We are aimed to show the most significant contribution of composers, singers and vocal groups to the development of the Ukrainian popular youth song, in particular, to present the cooperation and musical interaction of the most popular composers of the XXI century such as Dmitry Monatic, Vlad Darwin, Ruslan Kvint and the singers; to present talented musicians and their participation in national and international music competitions. The method- ology of the research consists in simultaneous application of comparative and historical, descriptive, problem, logical and systemic methods for outlining the directions of development of Ukrainian popular music, in determining the peculiarities of the variety phenomenon in different genres of singing creativity and ways of its expression, both individually and collectively. The scientific novelty of our research is that for the first time attention to the formation of the national musical industry, which began in the last decades of XX was paid, and examples of interaction in pop art such as composing and executing models of interaction of cultures in contemporary pop art of Ukraine are mentioned. The development of modern pop art in Ukraine is caused both by traditional approaches and by innovation. Nowadays, Ukrainian music continues to develop not only due to the representation of a specific Ukrainian culture, but also to organic interaction with other cultures, including those which are quite distant, which creates unusual international musical mod- els. Prospects of modern original Ukrainian pop art are in entering into the world musical context and in developing of Ukrainian culture in line with the European one.
