Monitoring of demand for services catering in the competitiveness of enterprises

Abstract
Purpose. The purpose of the article is to monitor the demand for catering services in the context of the competitiveness of enterprises. Methodology of research. The task done through a questionnaire survey and economic analysis. Findings. The study examined the motives order catering services, order frequency, format service, the scale of the order, the venue, the taste preferences of consumers. Also identifies the main factors that influence the choice of catering services, positive and negative factors in the staff catering firms and sources of information about this type of service. The assessment of demand for catering services. Practical value. Positive dynamics on catering services businesses of the restaurant the town of Poltava. The largest share of orders from catering accounted for business meetings, seminars and conferences. The main factors affecting the competitiveness of enterprises restaurant business, the provision of catering services are: order value, integrated services, especially food and quality service. Results of the study should be used to provide recommendations and develop procedures to ensure the competitiveness of enterprises restaurant business providing catering services.
