MOTIVATION FOR EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL SELF-PERFECTION DURING STUDYING OF PEDIATRICS IN UNDERGRADUATE COURSES

Abstract

Literature review and our own considerations concerning motivation to study and professional development of students during pediatric classes are described in the article. The objectives are: to study ascertainment of motivation and professional competence of undergraduate students during studying paediatrics at medical high school. The definition of motivation includes several aspects like: individual needs, interests, desires, objectives, motivation, improvements (dysprosium), ideals and motives. Motivation is closely related to the level of professional and pedagogical direction of education, definition of competence. On one hand, it improves that motivation is as a tool of educational process, and on the other hand, it becomes the exact result of education. Motive belongs to conception definition to explain reasons and actions of individual. Due to it, we can explain what and how man can do. During practical classes on paediatrics, motive is determined by solving practical tasks as a physician, to improve development of professional competence. A student in such a case becomes a subject of educational process, and the main problem with his motive might happen because of lack of motivation and deficit of social and educational activity. Main descriptions and concepts of motivation, reason and professional competence, like components for individual development of future doctor, are figured in this article. Given results improve necessity to diversify the work of studentphysician indoors and outdoors, with main focus on practice.
