Abstract
The article is aimed at the position of the Bukovinian German community literature in the 30-40-ies of XX century. The attempt was made to determine the place of creativity of Moses Rosenkranz, a poet of Jewish origin, in the context of Bukovinian German literature. The degree of knowledge of the artist's works in world literature was analyzed. In the process of analysis, the key stages of the life and career of Moses Rosenkranz were studied.
