Myroslav Yahoda’s «Broken» Text: Non-Classical Aesthetics of the Work «War of the Small Fierce Number»

Abstract
The underground artist Myroslav Yahoda’s prose is specific by application of experimental writing techniques, in particular the combination of methods of «automatic writing», «flow of consciousness» with postmodern ironic language play and the construction of a rhizomatic composition, where the development of action is drawn more sensually intuitively than evently. Through the metaphor of the war the artist’s inner conflict with himself and the world is exposed, and the text mechanisms «work» to create a «rich» text. The author tries to draw by the word creepy pictures that immediately have to intensify subconscious intuitive meanings bypassing the logic and traditional perception of the text; uses typographic means to express the text. Deconstructing the language and the writing, M. Yahoda extracts the hidden meanings that make the communicative discourse of the work «War of the Small Fierce Number» opaque, thick, deep and open to many interpretations, none of which will be exhaustive.
