CAREER UNDER INFORMATION ECONOMY CONDITIONS

Abstract

Nowadays the basic generators of profit of the enterprises are information and intellectual capital, but not physical actives. It is possible to name the economy, which is guided by information and intellectual capital, information or intellectual economy. Quite clearly that a role of an employee at an enterprise and his relations with an employer in such economy essentially differ from those they were in traditional economy. One of making such relations is career. The subject of the article is changes in career of the person which arise under conditions of transition to information economy. The object of the article is the substantiation of an inconsistency of the traditional approach concerning understanding of career in the conditions of information economy and disclosing of preconditions of occurrence and essence of new understanding of career. In the course of article preparation methods of the analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction for generalization of concept of career, analysis of factors which influence it, considerations of principles of work of the traditional enterprises and definition of the basic signs of successful career in the conditions of information economy have been used. The result of the work is generalization of traditional approaches concerning definition of concept of career, a substantiation of factors which traditionally promoted career creation at enterprises, and revealing of their inconsistency. Also changes in the work of the enterprises which have pulled behind itself changes in relations the employer – the worker, including changes in career creation have been analyzed. Results of the given work can be applied in work of directors and HR managers of the domestic enterprises to increase personnel efficiency.
