Global conditions of safety of stock market in Poland

Journal Title: Zarządzanie i Finanse - Year 2013, Vol 11, Issue 2

Abstract

The most important values for every stock market, also including polish stock market, is their stability and safety. Realization of these values depend not only on local (national), but also on global factors. Technical progress in computer industry on the one hand has positive influence on market development(new forms of communication, rationalization of cash transactions), but on the other it creates a new risk map(wider protection of investors as a weakest chain on the stock market, regulations concerning contracts, money laundering etc.). Computerization has positive influence on trade deconcentration (MTF) and institutional consolidation of stock exchanges (intercontiental stock exchanges), but for the polish stock exchange it may be a cause for its marginalization.
