Territorial Diversification of Unemployment in Poland as An Element of Company Management

Abstract
The major purpose of the paper is to perform space and time analysis of condition and structure of unemployment in Poland in voivodeship-based ap-proach. Changes over time in fundamental rates that characterise distribution of unemployed people from the point of view of various demographic and social features, including gender, age, education, duration of unemployment and seniority of the unemployed were analysed. In the second part of the case study similarities between voivodeships with regard to unemployment phenomenon that can be described using a lot of qualities at the same time were studied. Methods of multidimensional com-parative analysis, that is, Ward’s method, k-mean method and Wroclaw taxon-omy method were applied for this purpose. Dynamics of the level of unem-ployment while considering fundamental demographic and social features and also taxonomic analysis were performed for marginal years of the studied period, that is for 2008 and 2012.
