Using The Diagram of Czekanowski to Examining Resemblance of Countries of The European Union in Terms of Acquiring The Energy from Renewable Sources

Abstract
The rapid of civilization development causes increasing the demand for the electric energy, but using traditional energy sources (of coal, natural gas, petroleum) is contributing to the height of polluting the natural environment and causes running out of natural resources. Predatory energy policies are threatening the energy security of future generations. Much in such a situation it seems more beneficial to be using renewable energy sources. An evaluation of happening changes in acquiring the energy from renewable sources is an aim of conducted examinations and grouping countries of the European Union into groups about the similar structure of acquiring energies from renewable sources, as well as describing the structure of production of electricity from renewable sources in Poland relating to EU countries in years 2005 and 2011. For grouping EU countries an applied diagram of Czekanowski stayed.
