NIEMIECKA DEBATA MIGRACYJNA „WCZORAJ” I „DZIŚ”

Abstract
The migration debate in the Federal Republic of Germany has started in the seventies of the 20th century. Since then the debate has been returning periodically mainly during periods of political or economic crises. This article tries to analyze this debate taking into account three aspects: theoretical, political and media. The author argues that today the German government has difficulty in defining the objectives of migration. It tries to implement specific instruments in order to build a positive picture of immigrants but in the debate the negative aspects of migration prevail.
