Nominal compounds which denote vehicles in the contrastive aspect (based on the German and Ukrainian languages)

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of structural and semantic peculiarities in the organization of nominal compounds with the same base and dependent components which denote vehicles in the languages with different structures. In the process of studying of the investigated units special consideration is given to the processes of metaphorization, the metaphoric models in the nominal compounds have been identified, and also their productivity in the compared languages has been determined.
