NOMINAL STYLE OF GERMAN-LANGUAGE TEXTS OF LEGAL DOCUMENTS

Abstract
The article analyzes the phenomenon of nominalization and nominal style in the modern German language, which is a sign of the majority of German-language texts of official style. The phenomenon of nominalization is considered as a development trend of the modern German language, in particular in the field of legal communication. It has been established that thanks to the studied phenomena the modern text acquires a short, capacious and precise form. The study on the basis of German-language legal documents revealed language means for the realization of the nominal style, namely, at the word-formative, lexical, grammatical and grammatical-syntactic levels. On the basis of the study of linguistic means, it was established that the existence of the nominal style is provided by the possibilities of different linguistic aspects: lexical (use of nouns, as well as other parts of speech with nominal seme), word-formation (formation of nouns, inner flexion, compositing and conversion are the most effective ways of nominalization), grammatical-morphological (use of the genitive case) and grammatical-syntactic (common use of various types of definitions, the formation of stable word combinations due to combinations of nouns with functional verbs, reduction of composite sentences). The main attention in the article is focused on the study of nominal style in German-language texts of legal documents, which is caused by a lack of study of the phenomenon directly in this area of communication. The results of this study can be used by specialists in carrying out of brunch translation, and also give rise to basis for further study of the phenomenon of nominalization in various fields of science and spheres of daily life. For a comprehensive understanding of such a concept as a nominal style, the paper gives its definitions and aspects that influenced the formation of this linguistic phenomenon.
