Normative-legal regulation of social and legal protection of children with disabilities in Ukraine

Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of legislative and regulatory documents on the social protection of children with disbilities. The attitude towards citizens with disabilities is a characteristic feature of the civilization of the state and its democratic character. The level of state social protection of persons with disabilities is a reflection of the level of development of society as a whole. One of the important areas of state social policy is social protection for children with disabilities. The main responsibility of the society is to ensure social integration, equal opportunities for full-time living, self-realization, education and employment, and the involvement of children with disabilities in spiritual, cultural and sports life. Therefore, the resolution of such urgent and urgent issues requires the steady attention of legislators and require appropriate regulatory regulation and activation of the efforts of the executive authorities for their practical implementation.
