NORMATIVITY OF CRIMINAL LAW: WITH ADJACENT CATEGORIES

Abstract
Article formulates personal scientific position regarding the normativity of criminal law which is based on wide axiological approach to law. It is evidenced that normativity is one of the main features of criminal law which most entirely reveals its potential as a source of influence on deviant behavior. It is concluded that criminal law normativity does not equate to its normative character (group of criminal law norms). Normativity is a feature of criminal law, and normative character is its characteristic (outer depiction of normativity as the criminal law feature). Norm of criminal law is the basis of its normativity structural components of which also include functions and principles of criminal law. It is gradually proved that criminal law normativity is one of the basic pillars (grounds) of criminal law influence, criminal law regulation, criminal law reglamentation and order in criminal law sphere.
