Abstract
This article reports the use of teaching materials and Equal seeking remedy the difficulties of student learning visually impaired and / or seers with learning difficulties. Mathematics is often considered to be a discipline that requires more attention, and visually impaired students most often feel more difficult because communication (visual, auditory, etc.) are committed, and in many cases the teachers do not know how teaching / working with this student, because it is a difficulty so specific. Throughout this article, which presents the work on the project "The use of concrete materials in teaching equations of the first degree for visually impaired students and / or seers with learning difficulties" seek to discuss the difficulties that occur in the process of teaching and learning of mathematics, specifically in the content equation 1st grade and we believe that with the use of concrete materials (Equal) and professionals better prepared to work with diversity in the classroom, we are taking an important step to overcome the difficulties of teaching and learning of mathematics for visually impaired students and students with learning difficulties.
