Obraz szkolnictwa parafialnego archidiakonatu gnieźnieńskiego z końca XVII wieku w świetle wizytacji Stanisława Lipskiego

Abstract
The purpose of this article is portraying the image of the parish education in the Gniezno archdeaconry at the end of 17th century. A visit of inspection conducted in 1696-1699 by the archdeacon Stanisław Lipski constitutes the source base. Lipski is discussing the school in the context of building, associated with church staff - of the rector, the cantor, the organist, pupils and the program. The parish school didn't constitute the distinct institution, but belonged to the parish and was considered under the angle of particular elements forming the structure - of property substance and people employed in it. Tasks and the role of the school also corresponded to the cells important for the parish: of help in the worship and the Catholic education. The kind and the quantity of the information concerning the school entered into comparing the visit and inspection of Wincentego de Seve from 1608-1609 determined worsening the state of the parish education and the fact that they were putting smaller weight.
