Rozwój polskiej myśli pedeutologicznej

Abstract

The author conducted an analysis of the views of Polish pedagogues about the teacher. Pedeutology studies were conducted in several directions. The first is historical-comparative research on the shape and development of the teacher profession throughout history. For these studies, the monographs of eminent prominent pedagogues in various historical epochs are important.Successive comparative studies on systems, curricula and teacher development programs in different countries were carried out. Popular research has been and is continuing to address specific issues, with particular attention being paid to the effectiveness of teacher education and their work. Concentrating on the conditions of educational influence, psychological and pedagogical research has developed over the personality, traits, attitudes and interpersonal relations of the teacher. This paper presents retrospectively the directions of research on the teacher that appeared in Polish pedeutology. Analysis shows that changed in the pedeutological discourse over the years
