Abstract
The sphere of education in Ukraine is currentlysubject to numerous risks conditioned byglobal relationship, educational policy of the state and its regional specificity, management style in general and in educational institutions, in particular, the gap between expectations of society and performance of educational process occurs. The author sees imbalance of what people expect to get and the results obtained as one of the major risks in education.According to the author, instruments of law are too limited to overcome the risk, the key role in bridging the gap belongs to those ones who are obtaining their education.
