OPERATIONAL AND INVESTIGATIVE PREVENTION BY THE UNITS OF THE CRIMINAL POLICE FOR THE SEIZURE OF HOSTAGES

Abstract
The place and the role of operational and investigative prevention in the system of counteraction of units of criminal police to the seizure of hostages have been determined. The ways of using the possibilities of operative and investigative prevention by the units of the criminal police in counteracting hostage-taking crimes in the application of measures that do not require sanctioning are proposed. The necessity of development of operative-search counteraction by criminal police units to the seizure of hostages in the direction of strengthening the importance of operative-investigative prevention in the conditions of democratization of social relations was emphasized.
