OPTIMIZATION OF CONSTRUCTION OF SCHEDULES OF HIGH-SPEED PASSENGER TRAINS IS IN RAILWAY UNITS

Abstract

The optimal compilation of speed trains in railway junctions schedule is determined. The schedule allows release of compositions of high-speed trains to further their rational use at other railroad tracks to meet the passenger’s needs. The application of the proposed methodology allows efficient use of train stewards, reducing the need for stations track development. Today on Ukrainian railways there is a need to increase the frequency of rotation of high-speed trains in the existing directions and to introduce their rotation in other directions. Achieving this goal will be possible after replenishment of the fleet of high-speed trains or the release of compositions by constructing an optimal schedule of speed trains in railway junctions. New approaches are required for the development of high-speed traffic in the conditions of high value both of the high-speed lines and the corresponding rolling stock, The further development of high-speed rail transport on the Ukrainian railways is possible by developing an optimal process for the operation of existing railways capacities. Taking into account the specifics of the work of the railways, the needs of passengers in the transport of certain regions and nodes will allow the withdrawal of high-speed railway traffic to a new level.
