ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE IN GUIDANCE AND RESEARCH CENTERS

Abstract
ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the perceptions about organizational culture of the teachers and administrators working in Guidance and Research Centers in the Aegean Region. This research was based on the survey model. In this study, “School Culture Scale” was used. 151 of the administrators and teachers of 22 Guidance and Research Centers in the Aegean Region participated in this survey. When we consider the scale in general the participants'perceptions of their organizational culture are positive. There were certain distinctions in the favor of managers when the scale was considered in general and in the aspects of “Democratic Management and Participation”, “Collaboration, Support and Confidence”, “Integration and Belonging”, in the favor of the male participants in the aspect of “Democratic Management and Participation”, and according to the age of institutions in the aspect of “Collaboration, Support and Confidence”.
