Abstract
The article is devoted to one aspect of the manifestation of risk, risky behavior in the personal space of a modern student as a subject of the educational process. The definitions of “risk” as actions performed in the conditions of choice are presented. It is noted that the student activity, starting with the choice of the ZOO and the employment, can be considered as a decision in the state of risk. The results of the empirical research are the students’ satisfaction with the aspects of the educational process: satisfaction with the choice of the specialty, the quality of education, the organization of leisure, relations with teachers, the prestige of higher education institution. The highest rate is recorded in the “Prestige ZOO” assessment. Described the results of the study, the purpose of which was to analyze the subjective representations of students of different courses of teaching about an effective modern teacher, his most attractive and negative (in terms of students) qualities. Students believe that a modern teacher is, above all, a charismatic person. The obtained research results can be applied in the work of curators of academic groups. Let’s outline the prospects for further research on “risky behavior” of students: it is believed that self-efficacy skills are a means of managing risk.
