PASSIVE HOUSES – THE ACTIVE CONTRIBUTION TO THE FUTURE OF THE PLANET

Abstract
In the article, one of the advanced solutions of important environmental issues – pollution emissions and unsustainable use of natural resources – is considered. The subject matter of analysis of this article and possible saviour (a partial, of course) of the ecological future may be so-called passive houses. They are created not only to satisfy human needs but also taking into account the impact of building on the environment and to save exhaustible natural resources and preserve the environment that we have at the moment without its deterioration over time. That means, passive houses – it is not a global revolution in the world of ecology. These homes will not patch ozone holes and not destroy hectares of landfills but they will reduce the human impact on nature. And, moreover, they will also bring economic benefits to people.
