PECULIARITIES OF FORMATION OF INVESTMENT IMAGE OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The article examines and analyzes existing approaches in the modern literature to determine the image of the state as a factor that significantly influences the investment attractiveness of the state. The expediency of raising the image of the state to create a favorable investment climate is substantiated. The concept of image, the image of public authorities, the image of the state and the international state image are investigated. The purposes of formation of a positive image of the state are determined. On the basis of the analysis of the definition by leading scientists of the aforementioned concepts, it is proposed to determine the investment image of the state as an appropriate perception of the state economy and its investment climate by managing transnational organizations, investment funds, international business media, etc. The investment image is defined as a dynamic component of the general brand of the state. The concept of territorial image is defined, and the relation of concepts of territorial image and the image of the state is carried out. The list of consumer groups of the territorial image is established. The factors of formation of investment attractiveness are determined, and it is established that the investment image of the state is a macroeconomic factor of formation of investment attractiveness. Some issues of the legal and regulatory framework of investment legislation are considered. Positive and negative factors in the process of forming the investment image of Ukraine are determined.
