Pedagogical conditions for development of agricultural engineers’ creative potential

Abstract

The specifics of engineering education for the modern agrarian sector are determined by the realities of the world economy with its quite clear requirements towards the current expertise. The main requirements include the ability to solve complex problems, critical thinking and creativity. Obviously, to ensure their own competitiveness in the labor market, engineering graduates must be able to perform innovations from the very start of their professional activity. That requires a wide range of knowledge and skills (both, engineering and methodological), as well as a high level of creative potential. The study of systemic development of the creative potential for agrarian engineers enabled to determine a wide range of pedagogical conditions that made the implementation of a certain system in the educational process. The entire list of conditions was evaluated by educational experts, who identified the most significant ones. Further research might be focused on the requirements and rules that could determine the ways of interaction between all the pedagogical system elements directed to develop the creative potential of an agricultural engineer.
