Abstract
In this paper there is presented the pedagogical features overview of the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). There is compared MOOCs pedagogical strategies and paradigmatic provisions, their features, discussed the basis of different philosophical pedagogical paradigms. The most famous MOOCs categorization is based in their pedagogical features. According to the which educational paradigm specific MOOC is based, it is classified to cMOOCs, which are based on the constructivist educational philosophy, social learning pedagogical principles, connectivism pedagogical paradigm, or to xMOOCs, which are based on objectivist philosophy of education, behavioral pedagogical paradigm. In this paper there is provided recommendations of choice of the pedagogical strategy for the MOOCs.
