ПІДХОДИ ДО КЛАСИФІКАЦІЇ РЕКРЕАЦІЙНИХ ЗОН ДЛЯ ПРОЦЕДУРИ ЕКОЛОГІЧНОГО АУДИТУ

Abstract
О.М. Zaichenko. Approaches for classification of recreation areas for conducting an environmental audit procedure. The article analyses literature in the field of recreational environmental management and national legislation in the sphere of environmental audit. The article describes the different existing approaches for classification of recreation areas in order to facilitate the environmental audit procedure. The basic classification features of recreation areas are revealed. The concepts of “recreational territory”, “recreation area”, “recreation lands” are clarified. An advanced definition of a “recreation area” is proposed. The article considers the existing classification features for recreation areas in the context of goals and objectives of the ecological audit procedure. Such specific properties of recreation areas as systems are determined as: hierarchy, dynamics, co-adaptability, integrity, diversity, stability, recreation capacity, comfort, control credibility. The article provides that, while conducting environmental audit, the systemic functions of a recreation area shall be taken into consideration, in particular, when determining the ecological aspects of recreation areas and their subsequent expert and/or economic evaluation. Attention was drawn to the fact that recreation areas as an object of environmental audit have specific (co-adaptive) properties. They are both the object of environmental influence and part of it. Thus, a recreation area influences itself as part of environment, that is also to be taken into consideration when conducting environment audit. The article determines the need for evaluation of the object’s ecological aspects surrounding recreation areas, which influence on the quality of natural resources of the mentioned areas as part of the general system of environment. The article indicates that the types of recreation areas specified in state regulations, project documentation and scientific publications predominantly are unsystematic and fragmentary, and are determined in order to satisfy the information needs of certain concerned parties. A current problem is to refine, classify and unify the set of classification features of recreation areas. The development of classification of these territories can serve as a basis for further research, particularly, when determining general and specific ecological aspects for different types of recreation areas.
