Placement of distributed generation units using ant colony algorithm (ACS) to improve the reliability of the distribution network

Abstract
This study examines the impact of distributed generation units on the parameters of the distribution network reliability; it is also offering a smart algorithm ACS (Ant Colony Systems) Placement try to optimize the production units in a radial distribution network will be. Placement of the function of two important indicators SAIDI and will AENS. Calculation of system reliability by Monte Carlo algorithms have been developed and intelligent algorithms designed to find the optimal ACS used. Finally, the proposed algorithm is tested on IEEE-13bus network is simulated.
