Polish chemical industry during II world war

Abstract
Referring to the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, which has left its tragic mark on all areas of political, social and economic Europe, including Poland, also had a significant impact on the state and future of the chemical industry in Poland. In the paper, the author presents the changes in the industry during the war years, mainly in terms of statistics, and supplements selected information about the history of the most important chemical plants in Poland. The author describes people who have made the greatest intellectual contribution to the chemical industry before the war, and then immediately after its completion contributed to the intensive reconstruction and commissioning of production.
