PRESIDENT’S VETO, PARLIAMENT AND GEORGIAN MODEL OF SEPARATION OF POWERS

Journal Title: INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY JOURNAL "Web of Scholar" - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 7

Abstract

Presidential veto and executive-legislative relations in Georgia are very difficult, after several constitutional reforms status of the head of states was changed, now President is figurehead and neutral arbiter, but in practice there are constitutional battles for power between political actors of the state, which makes separation of powers non-sustainable.
