Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Information System

Abstract
This study aimed to develop a Computerized Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Information System (CPCMIS). Descriptive survey method was used which involved questionnaire, interviews, and observations. Six IT Personnel and One hundred fifty employees served as respondents. They were asked about the problems they encountered in the manual process and also to evaluate the developed computerized system as to its content and usefulness. Findings of the study showed that both IT personnel and employees “strongly agree” towards the Content of the developed computerized system with an overall weighted mean of 4.36 while on its Usefulness it has an overall weighted mean of 4.24 with an interpretation of “strongly agree”. These results could empower to both top management and employees to shift and adopt a new technology that would increase productivity and efficiency.
