PROBLEM OF FORMING THE METHODOLOGICAL COMPETENCE OF PROSPECTIVE PRACTITIONERS OF FOR NON-ENGLISH MAJOR UNDERGRADUATES: CURRENT RESEARCHES ON THE PROBLEM

Abstract
The article deals with the problem of forming the methodological competence of prospective practitioners of EFL for non-English major undergraduates. Current researches on the problem of forming FL teacher’s and practitioner’s professional and methodological competences are analyzed. Current state of forming the methodological competence of a practitioner of EFL for non-English majors in the institutions of higher education in Ukraine is studied. On the basis of the analysis results the conclusion of how profoundly the problem is investigated is made. The necessity of developing of the methodology aiming at pre-service education of the practitioners of EFL for non-English major undergraduates is substantiated.
